Before Jesus Changed My Life

I grew up in a Catholic home, but it never truly connected with me, and at a young age I eventually walked away from the faith. After that, I spent many years identifying as an atheist. During that time, I slowly fell into a lifestyle filled with lust and sexual immorality, without fully understanding that these actions were sinful or how they were affecting my life.

How Jesus Changed My Life

Everything began to change when I joined the Army National Guard. When I left for basic training, I was suddenly separated from the distractions of everyday life. Being away from everything gave me time to reflect and think more deeply.

During that time, I decided to attend church on base. As soon as I walked in, I felt an incredible sense of peace and an atmosphere that was unlike anything I had experienced before. It was overwhelming in the best way.

I was able to get a Bible and started carrying a small pocket version with me everywhere I went. Whenever I was struggling or feeling lost, I would turn to it for guidance and comfort.

My Life After Jesus Saved Me

After completing my training and returning home five months later, I continued going to church and eventually became involved with Salt and a connection group. Through these communities, my faith continued to grow.

Jesus saved me from some of the darkest and lowest moments of my life. Each day I spend time reading the Word so I can grow closer to Him and strengthen my faith.

Now my life finally feels like it has purpose and direction. Knowing that I belong to God and that I have an eternal place in His kingdom fills me with joy and peace every day.
