I would put all my love into earthly things such as video games, my girlfriend, and sports. I was chasing after things of the world and didn't realize how much of an idol I had made them, but after I lost these thing I was left with a hole in my life that I could not fill with anything in this world

How Jesus Changed My Life

I was born into a Christian family but have never been super strong in my faith. But after my breakup, I started going to SALT company. It hit me really hard as they challenged us on how we were putting our faith in everything but God. Mathew 6:19-21 is really helpful for me to remember that earthly things don’t matter and God commands us to put our faith in him. As I put my treasure in Christ and look to him, I feel less empty from worldly desires and have more fulfillment.

It’s been a little over 6 months since I have fully committed to Christ, and I have noticed that I can calm down a lot easier and feel more at ease when I can spend time alone in my room after a long day, simply praying
